Administrative Trustees Advisors
The State of Delaware and a few other states allow for the roles of the trustee to be separate; resulting in two roles: Fiduciary and Administrative Trustees. Typically, an investment advisor may have fiduciary responsibility over stock portfolios, while their Administrative Trustee Services manages the Administration. The grantorís trust document will authorize the investment advisor to exercise full investment discretion, while the financial institution's Trust Services Division will serve as the administrative trustee.
